With the increasing capacity of the generator, the damage caused by the stator winding internal faults has received more attention. This paper introduces how to simulate and analyze the large salien-t pole generator with stator winding internal faults by modeling the machine, calculating the parameter, analyzing the protection scheme. Salien-t pole generator is a typical type for this kind of fault,whose model can be a reference to other types.
