Abstract:
T he cha racter istics o f t he aer onautic electr ical sour ce, with constant speed co nstant frequency , CSCF, o r var iable speed co nstant fr equency, VSCF, ar e analy zed in this paper . The technical r equirements fo r the synchro no us g enerat or applied in an airplane ha ve been discussed. Aft er the calculation and t he desig n of some hy br id ex citatio n permanent magnet sy nchr onous g ener ato rs, and accor ding to the specific technical data, the genera tor wa s compar ed with the br ushless synchro nous g ener ato r w ith r o tating r ectifier . T he r esult of the compar ison show s that the application o f the hybrid ex cita tio n permanent magnet sy nchr onous gener ato r to aero naut ics is pr omising. The co nclusion is helpful t o the applica tio n of the permanent ma gnet sy nchr ono us gener ato r to aero planes.
