Abstract:
Buildings ar e chr onically ex posed to the atmospher e, bearing solar ir radiation and heat convection as w ell as the reflection from the gr ound and heat fr om t he buildings around . Inside the building, ther e are artificial heating , refrigeration and air conditioning . These ex ternal and internal factors contr ibute t o the building s’ therm al load, w hich will make structur e produce a certain ex tend internal force like other loads , such as tr emor and wind load. This ar ticle br ings fo rw ard calculational method and design pr ocedur es of thermal lo ad w ith reference to the t heor y and methods of meteor olog y and heat transfer and in combinat ion wit h the experimental analy sis.
