This paper analyzes shortcoming of micr oprocessor s parallel ex tension and advances serial extension to optimize the system desig n. Based on the discussion of SPI ser ial bus s construction, the I O of 89C51 is ut ilized to build SPI serial bus and a pract icable optimized system is designed.
