Abstract:
This paper introduces a new method for plate length calculation of spiral plate heat exchangers, which is based on spiral curve equation. With this new method adopted, not only precise plate length calculation but also two-way calculation between spiral angles and plate lengths in the case of any spiral angle can be easily performed, which is worthy to be widely applied.
