Abstract:
Titanium-bearing slag which contains 25% TiO2 is produced by blast furnace method in processing vanadium-titanium magnetite.Titanium-bearing blast furnace slag is a valuable secondary resources,but its large accumulation will pollute the environment.Extracting titanium from hydrometallurgy of titanium-bearing blast furnace slag is an effective way to use resource and to protect environment.Research status on extracting titanium from hydrometallurgy of titanium-bearing blast furnace slag is reviewed.The characteristics of hydrometallurgy by acid are systematically discussed,existing problems are analyzed,and some suggestions on the use of titanium-containing slag are provided in order to do its comprehensive utilization effectively.
