Abstract:
L- lactic acid fermentation is studied by using immobilized r hiz op us or yz ae. To determine the optimal operating cond-i tions including the immobilized beads size, the ex periments on aeration rate and fermentation temperatur e etc as well as, a ser ies of repeated- batch fermentation in a bubble column bioreactor are performed. The optimal operating conditions are: immobilized beads size: 3 3 3 mm, aerat ion rate: 1. 2 vvm; temperature: 33 . The productiv ity of L- lactic acid converted from g lucose can be up to 82. 4%.
