Abstract:
Dechlorane Plus ( DCRP) can be prepared by the reaction of hex achlorocyclopentadiene and 1, 5- cyclooctdiene through Diels- Alder Reaction, which is a wonderful flame retardant. The factors affecting the reaction have been analysed. The best preparation cond-i tions for the reaction have been described.
