Abstract:
In this paper , the protocol conversion mode between Profibus and Modbus protocol is discussed based on the research in the two kinds of fieldbus. The interlinking technology and conversion model are studied. Without changing the net structure and with the gateway applied to perform the conversion , the interlinking model is constructed from bottom to top level. The outline of gateway implementation is discussed with the design of software and hardware given in the paper.
