Abstract:
In the process of normal operation,urban sewage pumping station produces unpleasant odorous gases,seriously affecting the health and quality of life of the surrounding residents. In order to effectively control the odor of gas emitted from the sewage sump,its distribution rules need to be studied. In this paper,by establishing the mathematical model of diffusion mass transfer,we obtain the analytic solution of the concentration of malodorous gas in sewage and the odor concentration in the sump chamber with the integral transform method. The effects of indoor ventilation rate,initial concentration of malodorous gas,diffusion mass transfer coefficient,convective mass transfer coefficient and separation coefficient on the distribution of odor concentration are analyzed and discussed. The conclusions of the study can provide an important theoretical basis and solution for the prediction and control of the concentration of odor in sump of sewage pumping station.
