Abstract:
A m athematical model to simulate the discr ete par ticle behav ior in a mo ving gr anular bed dust filt er w as esta blished. The ex per iments pro ve that the co llisio n times between the dust par ticles and filt er part icles chang e w ith the dusty air velocit y and the var iation is qualita tiv ely identical w it h the chang e of dust remo val efficiency . Preliminar y resear ch show s that par ticles collision has impor tant effect on t he dust remo val efficiency .
