Abstract:

A mat hematical model of permeation flux in microfiltration of oil-w asterw ater was developed wit h a micro-cont rol element . The model predict ed the relatio ns between permeat ion flux and cro ss-flow v elocity , temper atur e and feed concentration. Ex periment r esults w ere fit fairly w ell w ith the model. T he m odel pro vids scientific basis for selecting pr oper o perational par amet er s.
