Abstract:
Edge detecting is one of the basic process in image processing . LOG Algorithm is one of the best edge detecting methods in common use, however, its shortcoming is also very obvious. To obtain better effect of edge detecting, the paper im proves the LOG algorithms by getting rid of the luminosity effect, seeking the best scale of σ and the inserting method to obtain more precise and more effective image.
