Abstract:

Coo ling load ga ined from the o ccupants is an importan t po rtion in the coo ling load o f the air-condition ing system. In order to research the in fluence o f the occupants on the coo ling load o f the sy stem, th is paper calcu lates the coo ling load ga ined from the occupants for som e sty les o f build ing s. The result shows that the occupants are the m a in facto r to affect the coo ling load o f the a ir-cond itioning sy stem. It‘ s s ignificant for designers to de term ine the cooling load o f the system sc ientifica lly by properly reduc ing indoor com fortab le standa rd and reasonab ly choosing density o f the o ccupan ts in the a ir- cond itioned room.
