Abstract:
The synthes is of TDCP w as stud ied, w ith phospho rous oxych lo ride and ep ichlorohydr in as reactan ts and rareea rth so lid superac id SO 2- 4 / T iO2 /La 3+ as ca talyst. The effec ts of reaction cond itions on the product y ie ld w ere exam ined, and the optimum reaction conditions w ere obta ined as fo llow s: n ( phosphorous oxychloride)  n ( epich lo rhydr in) = 3. 3：1, the m ass o f ca talyst is 2% o f phosphorous oxychloride, reac tion tim e is 3 h. The y ie ld o f TDCP w as about 98. 5%. The cata lyst can be easily recove red and rescued to g ive a lm ost the sam e y ie ld o f the ester ified product as that g ive by fresh SO 2- 4 / T iO2 /La 3+ .
