Abstract:
In relation to the ontology described by OWL，the paper firstly introduces the architecture of common ontology reasoners，then some built-in inference schemas in Jena semantic Web framework are explained in details． Meanwhile， the technique called reasoner cascading is also introduced in order to improve the capability of a single reasoner． Taking a mini-ontology as an example，we explore the ontology inference by using Jena built-in inference schemas and the outer reasoner Pellet．
