Abstract:
A mixed solvent of NMP and ethylene glycol was proposed for separating Hexane-Methylcyclopentane system with extractive distillation. Mixed solvent and some single- component solvents were investigated by chromatography and Vapor-Liquid Equilibrium experiment. Investigation showed that mixed solvent might be better solvent in selectivities and solubilities than single- component solvents.
