摘要:
简要介绍了ArcIMS的体系结构以及作为地图发布工具的操作流程,分析了ESRI的空间数据引擎ArcSDE的功能特点,探讨了地理空间数据的管理框架．就基于JAVA模型-视窗-控制器(MVC)三层体系结构与利用ArcIMS建立地图发布服务、ArcSDE作为空间数据服务结合SQL Server关系行数据库集成开发WebGIS应用进行了较详细的分析,并对比其它方法简要分析了基于J2EE架构开发WebGIS应用的优缺点．
