Abstract:
H ya luronan ( HA ) w as chem ica lly mod ified w ith ad ipic d ihydrazide ( ADH ), and physicochem ica l proper ties of the d ifferent cross-linked dens ityHA-ADH w ere stud ied. HA-ADH film s w ere prepared w ith a so lvent evapora tion m e thod. A fter cross-link ing, differential scann ing calor im etr ic analysis indicated that m icrostruc ture of the prod uct was obv iously altered. The dr ied film had strong ability ofw ate r uptake, and a h ighly porous ne tw ork structurewas detec ted by scann ing e lectron m icrograph, after the film swe lled in buffer. Intrinsic v iscosity [ η] w as measured w ith viscosity m ethod, and [ η ] ofHA and HA-ADH a re 14. 69 dL /g and 20. 21 dL /g , respective ly. Therew as a notable decrease in so lub ility o fHA-ADH film, compared w ithHA film, which cou ld pro long the reservation tim e o f the po ly m er in v ivo.
